The MAOZ Board of Directors has elected Shimrit Bainhoren to become the next CEO of MAOZ, effective January 1, 2022.

Shimrit joined the MAOZ team in 2015. In her current role, she directs the Change & Strategy Platform, which is responsible for accompanying Network members’ social change initiatives through the Meitzim (Accelerators) Unit, the Knowledge & Innovation Center, the investment platforms and the Technology Unit, as well as leading organizational strategy.

Previously, Shimrit managed the Meitzim and accompanied social change initiatives as a portfolio manager, after initially beginning her career at MAOZ as a coordinator on the Network team. Prior to joining MAOZ, Shimrit worked at the Gevim Group as a senior mediator and facilitator. She has extensive and diverse experience in mentoring, leading organizational processes and providing personal accompaniment to senior executives, and has established social and technological ventures, as well.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Bar-Ilan University, and is a lawyer and mediator by training. Shimrit lives with her husband Uri in Kfar Saba with their children Elia, Eviatar, Lia and Adi.
