Rotem is the Head of Gezer Reginal Council. In her previous possession Rotem served as CEO of ‘Access for All’ . The organization brings disadvantaged populations in Israeli society, with little formal education, into university campuses, educating them with vital and useful knowledge in various disciplines taught throughout the academic system. The program participants are both young and mature adults who dropped out of the mainstream educational system and they participate in unique introductory courses taught by outstanding undergraduate students at the university. The program currently spans three universities in Israel and has 1,700 students and 68 tutors.From 2009 to 2013 Rotem served as Senior Advisor to the Israeli Cabinet Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office and prior to that as a lawyer at 'Goldfarb Seligman and Partners' law offices.Rotem began her military service in the Israeli Air Force’s Flight School and later served as Operations Officer in an Air Force combat squadron.
Rotem lives in Moshav Karmei Yosef with her husband and two children. She is an amateur jogger and misses skiing. In 2008, Rotem came second in her age category at the Israeli Championships for Road Cycling.
Rotem holds an LL.B Degree from Tel-Aviv University and has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2006.
