Ori is a Partner, Government Relations & Israeli Partnerships, OurCrowd. Previously, he served as Chief -of-Staff and Head of Government and Authority Relations at OurCrowd, a venture capital fund based on crowdfunding. As of 2017, OurCrowd, is invested in approximately 120 start-up companies, most of them Israeli. Previously, Ori worked as chief-of-staff and director at the Israel Innovation Authority (formerly known as the Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Economy) and as a member of the Exemptions and Mergers Advisory Committee at the Antitrust Authority. Prior to that, Ori served as an economist at the Bank of Israel, where he analyzed financial markets and the international macroeconomic situation, advising on monthly interest rate decisions. He served as a lecturer in economics at Ariel University and the Lev Institute. He continues to teach lessons and workshops through the Pnima a movement that aims to bring together Israel’s diverse population groups through discussions on self and State. His topic of choice is “Attributes of the Soul in the Mirror of Judaism.”
Ori lives in Jerusalem with his wife and three children. He enjoys traveling, reading, learning and family time.
Ori has an MBA majoring in Finance, Banking and Marketing from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor's Degree with distinction in Economics and Business Administration from Ariel University. Ori is completing his Ph.D. in Jewish Philosophy at Bar Ilan University.
