For about a year, Ofer has been the VP of business development of Tribu – a public benefit startup, which aims to revolutionize volunteering worldwide and make a mass movement through connecting volunteers and community needs.Concurrently, he consults for other organizations and projects, among them the leadership of Masa Israel, Ruppin Academic Center, the Rimon School of Music, the Password for Every Student project and more.For the past five years, Ofer was chief of staff and senior advisor to the two most recent Ministers of Education: Shai Piron and Naftali Bennett. In these positions, he was responsible for the policies and large-scale reforms carried out by the Ministry of Education under these Ministers.
Ofer lives in Tekoa, in Eastern Gush Etzion. He is 37 years old, is married to Liat and is the father of four children: Shira, Degan, Evyatar and Ahinoam. In his free time, he is a member of the town council and promotes social projects such as “Our Brothers.” His main hobbies are running and snowboarding.
Ofer holds a master’s in public policy from the executive program at Hebrew University, and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Ono Academic College.
