Galia manages the Food Industries Association at the Manufacturers Association of Israel, which represents all manufacturers in Israel. Tasked with improving the business environment for food producers and the industry as a whole, she represents foodand drink producers when dealing with regulatory bodies and Knesset committees.Previously, Galia served as head of the Transparency International Israel organization, the Israeli branch of the Transparency International organization, which promotes ethics and transparency in order to combat corruption. Earlier in her career, Galia was a criminal lawyer on the legal team of the Custom and VAT Department of the Tax Authority.
Galia lives in Herzliya with her partner, her three children and a cat.
Galia holds an undergraduate degree in law from IDC Herzliya and another in political science from Tel Aviv University, as well as a graduate degree in law from Bar Ilan University.
