Dana is a member of the Dor Israel Movement and lives in Tel Aviv with her partner, Oded.

Education

Dana has served as the executive director of the Dror Educational Centers since 2010. In this capacity, Dana established a boarding school for youth in Mitzpe Ramon, and a school in Ramla for Arab youth who have dropped out of school. She developed change-making models in public schools, the social school and the Hevrutaim Program. Dana founded Yiftah, a pre-army preparatory program for at-risk youth, helped to open ten kindergartens, led the development of colleges for training of socio-emotional caregivers of the elderly, and helped to launch the Dror Galilee schools for the professionals of the future. Prior to these roles, Dana coordinated and led the construction of ten group homes for children and youth and participated in the establishment of the Human, Society and Nature School in Karmiel and the Eshbal residential facility for at-risk youth. Dana began her career as a homeroom teacher, grade coordinator and a social coordinator in the Ofek School. In 1997, Dana was a part of a group of young adults who founded the educational kibbutz, Eshbal.
