Esti is the head of digital health initiative in the Israeli healthcare system. In her current position, Esti is responsible to drive digital transformation and lead policy, implementation and change, with a diverse team with a range of skills and expertise. In her role, Esti led significant programs as secondary use of health data for research; the use of cloud computing in healthcare; developing assessment for digital health applications; developing Israeli FHIR implementation, and recently is the co-founder of the Israeli Telemedicine Community. In her previous position, Esti served as the Deputy Director of the Medical Technology, Health Information and Research Directorate (MTIR), in the Israeli Ministry of Health. Esti led national projects such as the National Program for increasing the accessibility and availability to MR exams, as well as international collaboration with the IAEA on the field of medical technologies
